Summary: We collect only what we need to process your files and handle payments. We delete your files within 24 hours. We do not sell or share your data.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Files You Upload
What: Legacy database files (.mdb, .accdb, .dbf, etc.) that you upload for extraction.
Why: To perform the data extraction service you requested.
Retention: Deleted within 24 hours of processing completion.
1.2 Technical Information
What:
- IP address
- Browser type and version
- Device information
- Timestamps of access
Why: Rate limiting, security monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Retention: Logs retained for 30 days, then deleted.
1.3 Email Address (Optional)
What: Your email address, if you choose to provide it.
Why: To send you the download link for your extracted data.
Note: Email is optional. You can download directly without providing an email.
1.4 Payment Information
What: Credit card and billing information processed directly by Stripe, Inc. We do NOT receive or store your full credit card number.
What We Receive from Stripe: Last 4 digits of card, transaction ID, payment status, billing country.
2. How We Use Your Information

3. Data Sharing
We share information ONLY with:
- Stripe - Payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy)
- Infrastructure providers - Secure hosting (data encrypted, deleted after 24 hours)
- Legal requirements - When required by law, regulation, or legal process
4. Data Retention

- Encryption at Rest: Files encrypted while stored
- Isolated Processing: Your files processed in isolated environments
- Secure Deletion: Files permanently deleted, not just marked for deletion
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request confirmation of what data we hold about you
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data
- Correction: Correct inaccurate information
- Data Portability: Receive your data in machine-readable format (EEA/UK)
- Lodge Complaint: File a complaint with your local supervisory authority (EEA/UK)
